1. Salvations and Spiritual Growth: As always, please pray that hearts will be opened to the Gospel here in the Philippines and S. East Asia. And as they are being discipled, we desire to see them have a passion for God, and an urgency to tell their family and friends about this personal relationship with God!
2. Simbalay Leadership: Please pray for these faithful men who volunteer to help us each week with leading Simbalay bible studies all over Mactan and Cebu. We are praying also for new leaders to step up and feel God's calling in this direction.
3. Simbalay Bible Studies: We are excited about our Simbalay bible studies here in Mactan/Cebu. We are also excited about Simbalay home groups that have been started in Mindanao and Leyte! This model of church planting is also being used in Nepal, Taiwan and Japan. Please join us as we pray for these pastors as they use this approach in their countries, and as God uses them to meet the needs of the people in different ways than before.
4. Traditional Church Planting in the Philippines:
Please pray for the established works throughout
Cebuano speaking areas of the Philippines. Pray for the funds to send several young men who have expressed their call to plant churches in new areas. Please pray for and consider supporting these ministry needs

5. Taiwan: Please pray for Robert as he travels to Taiwan 2-3 times a
year. Pray for safety, good health, and that he will be used as an effective tool for those he trains. Also please pray for the BMA Taiwanese churches and pastors. We are honored to be able to help in the
ministry to encourage these guys as they reach Taiwan
for Christ! His next trip to Taiwan will be in September.
6 . Homeschooling: It's that time again.....enjoying the last few weeks before we start up with our 6th and 8th grade year of Abeka.
7. Mindanao conflicts: Ever since we have arrived back in 2002, there has always been turmoil and conflict in certain parts of Mindanao island. It seems to have escalated recently. Please pray for our church planters, their families and church members who minister among all the chaos down in
Mindanao. Please help us pray for a peaceful resolution!
8. Japan: Please continue to pray for this country, and for Bro. Udonishi, our national BMA pastor there. We are excited to see God working with the new approach of church planting that Bro. Udo has started. Robert's next trip to Japan will be in October.
9. Nepal: We are very excited
about the ministry potential in this country. Robert has visited Nepal a couple of times last year, and will hopefully go back sometime this
next fall to help encourage these
dear pastors in their work there. Please pray for Robert
as he makes future trips here.
10. Robert's leg: Thanks for the prayers! His leg is still weak, but no more crutches, and no more limp. Back to normal!
